DMCA Copyright Policy
SoftZone respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to valid takedown notices.
1. Our Role
SoftZone is a search engine and directory that provides links to third-party software hosted on external platforms. We do not host, store, or distribute any copyrighted content on our servers. All files are hosted by third-party services such as Mega.nz, MediaFire, and Google Drive.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been linked on our site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A detailed description of the work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material: The exact URL of the page on SoftZone that contains the allegedly infringing link.
- Your contact information: Full name, email address, and phone number.
- A statement of good faith: A declaration that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Processing Timeline
We will review and process valid DMCA notices within 24-48 hours of receipt. If the notice is valid, we will remove the infringing link from our directory.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature

5. Repeat Infringers
SoftZone has a policy of terminating access for users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
6. False Claims
Please note that submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice may result in legal liability. Ensure that your claim is accurate and made in good faith.
